Brains, heart, courage and a ticket back to Kansas; everything that one needs to put on a play in a foreign language (except for the ticket back to Kansas, of course!). Inspired by second graders and their work on The Wizard of Oz, our eight graders overcame their fears, used their wit and had a common purpose which got them closer while memorizing long lines in English, learning how to express their emotions as actors and not giving up considering the year they had.
